A loan helped to pay for seasonal work on her land and for the planting of lettuce, cabbage, and leeks to earn income during the winter season.

Flora's story

Flora is a 51-year-old rural woman. She is married and a proud mother of three children, two boys and a girl. The oldest of her sons is married and lives with his own family. Flora and the rest of the family live in a small village, located in west-central Albania, where the main activity of the villagers is agriculture.

Flora and her husband plant their family land with different produce to make a living. She is asking for the first time for Kiva lenders' support, as she needs to prepare for the winter season. She wants to pay for some seasonal work on her land and the planting of lettuce, cabbage, and leeks so that she will be able to earn an income during the winter.

Flora thanks all Kiva lenders for this opportunity and wishes all the best to you and your families!
