Rani lives in a three-room brick house in a small city of south Punjab, Pakistan, called Chichawatni, which is famous for its agriculture. Rani is 20 years of age, born in Chichawatni and grew up here. She got married at an early age to M. A. who has manufactured furniture for the last ten years.
She has two children, 2 year old Akram and 4 month old Rizwan. She is a housewife who takes care of her family by staying at home.
Rani’s husband is in need of money because he wants to buy wood in bulk to fill a large order. Therefore, Rani has applied for a loan from Asasah to help her husband in this regard. She is hopeful that by investing money in her husband’s business, he will be able to make good profits as a result of fulfilling larger orders. She also hopes that an increase in income will make it possible for her family to enjoy a better standard of living and that she will be able to educate her children once they become older.
She is a new loan user of Asasah and she is expecting that it will be a good experience for her.
