A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19.

Nurleyla's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Nurleyla. She is 31 years old and married with two daughters and two sons.

Nurleyla runs a business of a food stall and her husband is a laborer. One of her children is still in school.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,200,000 IDR from KBMI at Cibeber Branch to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19.

Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Nurleyla is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, improves the living conditions and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Nurleyla’s son.

This loan is special because:

It allows students of every economic background to pursue education.
