Agnes's story

Agnes is 49 years old, married and blessed with eight children. She joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa to benefit from the enterprise development, savings and climate resilience training that has helped her run her business well.

She does maize farming. She is borrowing a Kiva loan in order to buy seeds and fertilizer and hopes this will help her increase the production hence increase in income. She intends to use the anticipated income to provide her family with descent clothing and meals.
