A loan helped to purchase quality potato seeds.

Teresia's story

Teresia is 73 years old, married, and a mother of four children. She is glad to have joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa where she has benefited from financial management and savings mobilization training.

Teresia does potato farming. She is borrowing a Kiva loan to purchase quality potato seeds and hopes that this will increase her level of production and, as a result, her income. She will use the increased income to provide food and clothing for her family.

Teresia is grateful to Kiva and their lenders and promises to repay promptly.
