My business is a small take-out/delivery restaurant, serving southern-inspired meals. My business has operated from home over the last few months, but I now have secured a location in a neighborhood plaza. I decided to start my business because it's something I love to do, but mainly because being a single mother, raising 3 kids completely on my own put me in a very overwhelming position. Working jobs that don't share my values, or respect my home life or understand my position as a mother has been very difficult. I wanted to create a space/ business designed to financially support my family with respect to my desire to be there for my children or have them involved in some way. This loan will definitely improve the ability of my business being able to function at its full capacity, and giving us the opportunity to give our physical location the proper upgrades. We would like to install a hood and vent for the stove, purchase fryers, and steam tables to keep orders fresh, buy signage so that people can locate our business, and purchase inventory to increase production.
