Baloon-Bay Group's story

Baloon-Bay Group is beginning another loan cycle with Kiva's partner, ID Ghana, which is located in the province of Teshie. The group is made up of two members and is led by Happy.

The loan that ID Ghana offers will benefit a range of businesses, including the one that of Happy owns. Currently, she has a business selling cosmetic products at the local market. The loan will be used to purchase more cosmetics such as used wigs, weave-on, shampoo, and other items to meet the demands of her customers.

Happy also employs youth to help them finance their education by selling some of the cosmetic products. This work allows her to support her family financially too. She is married and has three children who are in school.
