Kateryn Margarita is 20 years old and lives with her mother and her young 6-year-old child, who depends on her financially since she is a single mother.
Kateryn works on a farm in her community as a laborer and has land where she works cultivating the land and planting apples, corn, beans, and pipian squash with the help of her mother. It is a trade she carries out very well and it allows her to generate income for the responsibilities with her young child.
But, she wants to grow more pipian, so she is asking for a loan to pay for the pipian squash crop. With this, she hopes to have a larger harvest of this vegetable since it is one of the most sold ones in her community and it will allow her to generate more income and offer more products to her customers. She always dreams of being able to help her mother, of having more crops, and of giving her child the best.
Kateryn, with Adan and Jesus, form the solidarity group Los Agricultores 2. They are responsible and enterprising people who seek solutions to get their families ahead.
