This is Helena, a modest, and enterprising 43-year-old married woman who possesses a strong desire to get ahead. Helena lives with her small family in Aileu municipality, where she has a business selling an East Timor traditional fried bread in a variety of colors and tastes. It is a very well-known bread because of its unique taste, and lots of people love it.

Helena would like a loan of 500 USD to buy more flour, oil, food colors, and other necessary ingredients to make fried bread to sell and generate income for her family.
