A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online educational needs during Covid-19.

Ipat's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Ipat. She is 41-years-old and married with one daughter and one son.

Ipat runs a business of selling breakfast food and her husband is a construction laborer. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family has been the implementation of school from home which uses an online system. This has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and to send assignments to the teacher.

Ipat has applied for a loan of 1,800,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online educational needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Ipat is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children and to improve their living conditions to create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank to all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Ipat’s son.

This loan is special because:

It allows students of every economic background to pursue education.
