Hi Bombay is a small restaurant located on 1 Pleasant Street, Portland, Maine. We are the fourth management group of the restaurant; the previous three other owners were Indian-Americans. Hi Bombay is a 52-seat restaurant that provides Indian cuisine that is second to none. Our menu offers well prepared Indian food seasoned to perfection. Currently, we have all fusion Indian foods, but we are planning to add some Nepali food for people to try as well. We pride ourselves on our hospitality and restaurant atmosphere, but we have lots of work to be done. This loan would really help us to open a bar and do better in this business.
What is the purpose of this loan?
Hi Bombay would use this loan in three specific ways: 1) Remodeling: This loan would be so helpful for us to in building a small bar, which will offer a new experience for our customers; 2) Equipment/Furniture: We will also change some tables and chairs, as you can see the chairs are tearing up; and 3) Staff: Finally, we also would like to add some Nepali foods to the menu, as mentioned above, and hire a new chef to make these Nepali dishes.
