Mary's story

Mary is a 42 year-old woman who is married with five children. They live in a community in Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands.

To earn a living, Mary owns and operates a small general store business selling rice, noodles, canned foods and biscuits in her community. She has been in this business for one year.

Mary joined SPBD in 2020. She has requested a loan to pay for additional rice and mixed goods to assist her with her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's financial needs and grow her business.
