05-Fatou Mbolo Group's story

This group of women has existed since 2018. The group members live in the same town and keep up very strong ties of kinship and solidarity. Their main work is in farming.

FATOU, the group's representative, is 48 years old. She is at the far right in the photo with a hand raised. A married mother, she has seven children, including four sons. She is active in farming.

With this loan, she plans to purchase peanut seeds and sacks of fertilizer for her crops. After the harvest, she is going to sell her produce at the local market at good prices in the hopes of having better revenues. The earnings will enable her to meet family needs and to develop her livestock farming.
