A loan helped to purchase stock in bulk to increase her profits.

Abibata's story

Abibata is a 30-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her husband and children in Nanumba North district of Ghana. She operates a business selling groceries. With her previous loan, she purchased more stock and invested the profit she earned into her business.

Abibata is requesting a Kiva loan in order to purchase stock in bulk to increase her profits. She plans to re-invest the profits she earns to support her family’s daily needs. To repay the social interest on her loan, she will volunteer two and half hours per week as a CAMFED Business Mentor leading and guiding less experienced local women to become entrepreneurs.

Abibata focuses on developing their business acumen and sharing her own experiences of the challenges they might face.
