Georgina's story

Georgina is a 35-year-old woman who is a widow with six children. They live in a community outside Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Island.

She has a garden where she grows cabbages, cucumbers, and eggplants that she can sell at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for one year.

Georgina has requested a loan to pay for additional gardening tools such as a wheelbarrow, spraying cans, and seedlings (eggplant, cucumber and, cabbages) to assist her with her farming activities.

She plans to use her profits to provide financial support for her family and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2021.
