Aissata is the mother of nine children of whom three are attending school. For ten years, she has been a street restauranteur in an outlying district of the capital. In addition to food service, she trades in grains.
She is now on her 6th loan cycle with the microfinance institution YIKRI and pays back her loans without a problem. She is requesting this loan to pay for beans, pearl millet, sorghum, and corn to satisfy customer demands.
She plans to use her earnings to reinvest in her business and to save money for improving her family's living conditions. She urges everybody to guard against the COVID-19 virus and wishes anyone suffering from it to get well soon.
