Chantal is a 32-year-old mother of three children who are between 5 and 10 years old. Her husband is a construction worker, and for the past 10 years she has been selling fruits.
She is the leader of the group called Duhuzumurimo Cb, which in English means "work together." Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.
She will use her loan to buy more mangoes, pineapples, avocados and passion fruits to sell within her community to meet customer demand.
With the profits from her sales, she hopes to increase her savings and to one day build her own house.
