A loan helped to buy farm inputs such as organic fertilizers.

Selina's story

This is Selina, a 54-year-old mother who is the picture of beauty and has an infectious smile. Out of economic necessity, she started farming a few years ago. Selina is from the Kitale area of Kenya, an area endowed with natural streams and green vegetation. Over the years, she has gathered much experience and is considered among the best farmers in her village. Her primary sources of income have been crops.

Although she makes a profit from farming, she is not comfortable and has always wanted to increase her income by planting, harvesting, and selling more food crops. That is why she is seeking this loan to buy farm inputs such as organic fertilizers. Kenya's Kitale area, one of the country's most populated regions, has a high demand for food. By adding more food crops to her farming activities, Selina can increase her profits and satisfy the demand.

Selina believes that this loan will be very helpful and that she will be able to satisfy the demand for food. She also believes that the extra income she earns will enable a change in her life and an increase in her business. Increased profits will allow Selina to repay this loan. Be inspired this quarter of 2021 and lend to keep her beautiful smile!
