This lovely lady is Nurgul. She is 34 years old, is married, and is raising four children. She has a secondary education, and has been rearing livestock and growing crops since 2008, as her main contribution to the family income. Thanks to Nurgul's hard work and her husband's help around the farm, it presently consists of nine cows, 63 sheep, and seven horses.
In order to develop her business further, Nurgul is seeking support from Kiva in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock. Her goal in this is to increase her income from her sales of organic meat. The income generated by the loan will help her expand her farm by boosting her headcount of pedigree cows.
