A loan helped a member to purchase wool in bulk.

Hormiguitas De San Juan Group's story

The Hormiguitas de San Juan communal association, as part of the Agencia Los Andes, is made up of eight members and is led by officers, of whom Silvia is the president.

Silvia, 28 years old, is in a common-law marriage and has five children. She has a business knitting jumpsuits. With the loan, she will purchase wool in bulk, which she will get from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. After making them, she will sell the product in her sales stand. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially. Her aspirations are that her children become professionals. Silvia asks that you trust in her communal bank again.
