Yaritza Jamileth and her family live in Montecristi, notable for its artisanal handicrafts made from toquilla straw, wicker, piquigua [rainforest plant fiber], and wood; as well as fine toquilla straw hats known around the world as "Panama Hats," known all over the country and outside of it.

At her home, Yaritza Jamileth engages in preparing and selling meals with home delivery, such as the delicious "bandera." It's a typical mixed plate served in Ecuador (¼ cup clam ceviche, ¼ cup shrimp ceviche, ¼ cup fish ceviche, ¼ cup beef tripe stew, ½ cup rice, and ¼ avocado. She also makes fish ceviches, clams, shrimp, chicken stews, ribs, etc., depending on what her customers request.

She also sells varied clothing for ladies, gents, and children, sheet sets, and Avon catalog products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes, and ladies' accessories). She works three days a week, two to three hours a day, leaves her products on credit, and collects every eight days.

The social isolation at first had her without work, because of the fear of infection and because of various restrictions that prevented her from going out to sell, but currently she is serving customers with bio-safety protocols in place.

This loan is to buy makeup, perfumes, sheet sets, chickens, fish, clams, rice, disposable containers, etc. Her dream is to have a large restaurant to continue with her sales, and for her family to have good health.
