Salamata is a seamstress and mother of three children, two of whom are in school. She opened a sewing workshop and has also been selling juice for over 7 years in a suburb of the capital. She is applying for a new loan to buy a sewing machine, a refrigerator, and bags of bissap (dried hibiscus flowers) and sugar to make juice to sell to her customers.
