Diana is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her parents in Phalombe district in Malawi. She buys, sells, and grows maize.

Diana is requesting a loan to buy more maize to meet her customers’ demands and increase her profit. She plans to use the profit she earns to meet her basic needs and pay school fees for children in need. Diana will also repay the "social interest" on her loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a member of the CAMFED Association, supporting other members and leading activities that give back to the community.
