A loan helped buy basic products and groceries to increase her business.

María Jacqueline's story

Maria Yacqueline is a young woman of 19 who lives with her husband in the Monsefú district, an area known for its touristic and religious festivities and for its handmade decorations made of wood, clay, and rushes. It is located half an hour from the city of Chiclayo.

She sells basic products and groceries in a store located in the house where she lives. Her principal customers are her own neighbors, who find in her store the daily necessities for which they would otherwise have to go to the local market. This business is of great help to her family's finances. Her husband drives a motorcycle taxi, and together they exert themselves to the maximum to advance themselves. Indeed, to be able to support herself in this business, Maria always tries to offer her customers products of good quality and pleasant service.

Maria wants to increase her business with the purchase of more products, so that she can satisfy the demands of her customers. For this reason, she has applied for the first time to Edpyme Alternative for a loan of 800 PEN to help her achieve her objective.

Maria is a woman who has known how to advance herself through her own effort. Her quality of life has improved relatively, and this gives her the will to exert herself in her business even more. In the district where she lives, she is a well known and admired woman.
