Daima Group's story

Mme Marie is a client of Hekima IMF and leads the groupe
villageoise, DAIMA. She is the 40 year old, married mother
of 10 children, of whom 8 are in school and 2 are still very young. Her husband is a pastor.

She sells food and started this business one year ago using the initial capital provided by her husband. Then she became involved with the Hekima program to support her business and in which she has been steadily progressing. With this loan she will increase her inventory with 2 sacks of cassava flour and corn which will add to her initial capital. The challenge to her business is related to the lack of customers. She would like for her children to continue their schooling and to build a house.

Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of struggling business owners during this context of the global crisis related to Covid-19. The photo only shows the leader of this group due to Covid-19 and out of respect for social distancing measures.

In this group: Esther, Ange, Mwezi, Emanuel, Sylvie, Samuel, Olive, Jerome, Samuel, Jeanne, Josephine, Lucie, Dakar, Marie, Tatiane, Penina, Marius, Mupenda, Alice
