Mit's story

Mit is married and living with her husband under the same roof in Bakan District, Pursat Province. She has spent most of her lifetime dedicated to agricultural businesses, including farming and raising poultry. Mit has earned her income through these businesses, from which she has been able to support her daily living. Her husband serves as her motivation in these businesses. Mit wants to process her food crop regularly; then, more food will be in her food reserve, which will aid in adaptation to and mitigation of climate change. Agriculture-product processing will give income to her family and improve her family's standard of living.

Because of a shortage in her finances, she has applied a loan in the amount of KHR 8,000,000 to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house. With this loan support, she can pay for ground filling and provide her family members with a good environment and fresh air, protecting them from illness and creating good living conditions. In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and push her children to continue studying at university. She believes that through her hard work and perseverance, she will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
