A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs.

Amah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Amah. She is 39 years old and married with two sons. Amah runs a business selling fried food and her husband is a laborer. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Amah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, improves their living conditions and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for this opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Amah’s son who still in school.

This loan is special because:

It allows students of every economic background to pursue education.
