A loan helped to buy taro roots (seedling), banana tube (seedling), chemicals, backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw.

Lisi's story

Lisi is a 22-year-old single lady who runs a business selling taro and banana in her community to earn a living. She has four years of experience with this business. She works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and banana.

She thought she would earn more income if she plants more banana and taro, but to do this she needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedling), banana tube (seedling), chemicals, backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw to help her run the business. She even delivers her products to the flea market by using the bus (transportation).

She comes from a family in which no one works to earn a living and only her business will help her family's needs. Her dream is that one day her family will be in a great living standard.

She became a member of SPBD in 2021 to seek finance for her business. Lisi realized that your support will be a big help for her and her family to develop through financing.

This loan is special because:

It provides women with credit in a country where alternative financing is extremely scarce.
