Basilia Ordóñez A. sells tomatoes. She has five daughters and two sons. They help her with the tomato sales. She buys from the producers, and she has her sales spot in the center of the Momostenango municipality in the Totonicapán department.
She has a second economic activity, which is raising domestic animals like pigs, sheep, chickens and cows. Her husband helps her. He sells clothes in the market in the San Pedro Sacatepequez municipality in the San Marcos department.
The people in the group need to increase their animal production and their firewood sales. This group of women lives in the Xasaclac parrish in the rural community of Jutacaj, Xequemeya village, Momostenango. They decided to request a loan to finance their economic activities. That way they will be able to improve their living conditions and those of their families. This is the second loan that they have requested.
