A loan helped buying 3 boxes of canned foods and 3 sacks of cassava flour.

Fati's story

A. Fati was born on November 24, 1982 in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. For about twenty years, she has been living in the Cocotomey district, in the community of Abomey Calavi. She is unmarried and has no children. She lives by herself and is alone in supporting herself.

Fati did not attend school. To meet her needs, she sells various goods (rice, couscous, mayonnaise, sugar, canned tomatoes, toothpaste, matches, etc.) out of her home. Secondarily, she sells cassava flour. She gets her supplies at Dantokpa, the international market of Benin, and also at the Cococodji market, in Abomey Calavi.

This is the second time that Fati has requested a loan from ALIDé in order to expand her business and to satisfy her customers further. She has indeed repaid her first loan.
