A loan helped to buy supplies to increase her production of hamburgers and salchipollo.

Rosa Elvira's story

Rosa is a 37 year old mother who lives withe her husband and their children in the district of Guadalupe in the province of Pacasmayo, which is in the La Libertad region, an hour and ten minutes from the city of Chiclayo, capital of the Lambayeque region.
For more than four years she has been preparing food such as hamburgers and sachipollo (a typical fast food dish of the country which consists of fries and fried chicken). She sells her products from a mobile cart and does this every night of the week in the small square in her neighborhood. The business is very well received because of the good seasoning she uses to prepare the dishes she sells.
This activity enables Rosa to help her husband with the expenses for looking after their two children. He is a worker in the nearby rice mill and they both strive daily to succeed. Rosa wants to grow her business by buying more supplies that will enable her to prepare more dishes and increase her sales. To achieve her objective, she has requested a loan of $725 from Edpyme Alternativa.
Rosa is an enterprising woman who gives her best in order to succeed. She has worked with our institution before and has shown herself to be punctual and responsible in making her repayments.
