This group is made up of 5 women who share strong bonds of solidarity and mutual aid. They live in the same locality and took the opportunity to join the banc villageois when it was established in the locality in December 2009. Their main activity is small business.
Madame Mayé Diakhaté, (standing on the far right of the photo with her hand raised), is the group's representative. She is 44 years old. She is a widow and mother of 5 children including 2 boys. She runs a butcher shop. She has experience in this business having practiced it for several years.
With this new loan she plans to buy sheep to kill them and then resell them by kilograms to her customers.
With the profits, she intends to develop her businesses, strengthen her savings, and meet her needs and those of her children.
