For 14 loan cycles, the clients of RAICES DEL MONIMBO have seen progress in their wood crafts businesses, wax candles, bread sales, pork meat sales, footwear sales, bakery sales, clothing sales, among others. Through financing they have managed to get their families ahead.
The leader of this story is Javiera Auxiliadora (in front of her companions, she has her hand raised). She is 32 years old, cheerful, funny, and innovative; her husband is a wood craftsman.
"My dream is to see my three children grow up to become professionals and have my own house," she emphasizes. She requests a loan to buy wood and paint with which to produce popular wooden crafts such as large utility bowls, sauce bowls, fruit bowls.
Competition and the pandemic are her main challenges, but she has created sales strategies that help her be successful. Financial literacy trainings have given her the impetus to innovate.
