A few years ago, Fatima decided to grow veggies such as lettuce, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, carrots and eggplants. Initially it was only for home consumption but then, she started selling the products to her colleagues and friends. This little success created a big motivation so that Fatima started growing veggies more professionally. The number of customers increasing was a new challenge for Fatima. She acquired a big portion of land in Moamba to continue growing veggies but also to grow fruits such as watermelon.

Since Fatima now has a major portion of land, she needs to invest more in her business. She wants to grow more veggies and fruits to sell to her customers in order to increase her income. This is the reason why she is requesting a Kiva loan.
