Nuevo Amanecer El Peñasco Group's story

Zayda, age 38, is married and the mother of three children. She has a grocery store business and makes "rosquillas" [doughnuts]. She had another business making "nacatamales". It is worth mentioning that she has the support of her husband, who works growing basic grains.

She requests a loan from Fundenuse with Kiva funds to buy rice, beans, oil, eggs, soap, toilet paper, corn, firewood, etc., to take advantage of the Christmas season. She has the near-term goal of improving her house.

She belongs to the communal bank “Nuevo Amanecer el Peñasco” with Gleny, who works making bread and tamales, and Lilliam, who sells perishable items, makes doughnuts and tamales, and sells coffee.
