Arche De Noe Group's story

Madame Esther is a client of microfinance institution Hekima and leads the Arche De Noe Group. She is married, 50 years old, and has 7 children. Of her children, 4 are in school and 3 have completed their studies. Her partner is unemployed.

Esther sells a variety of items in her store. She opened her business in 2012 with startup funds from her husband. Later, she partnered with Hekima to support her business, and it has grown steadily since then. With this new loan, she will purchase beverages, flour, oil, beans, and rice, which will increase her working capital. Her main business challenge is related to lack of customers.

Esther would like for her children to continue their studies and to feed her family. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to owners of non-bankable businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to social distancing measures, only the group leader is shown in the photo.
