A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s educational needs.

Sariah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Sariah. She is 52 years old, married, and has a daughter and a son. Sariah and her husband are traders of agricultural products. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on her family has resulted in her child having to take online classes from home. This has made it difficult for her child to access course materials and send assignments back to the teacher.

Sariah applied for a loan of 4,200,000 IDR from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s educational needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan she received using the profits from her business.

Sariah is a very hardworking mother who always strives to provide the best for her children, improve their living conditions, and create a happy life. She is very grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank all of the lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Sariah’s son who is still in school.

This loan is special because:

It allows students of every economic background to pursue education.
