A loan helped whitewash her house & purchase cement.

Martha's story

Martha and her husband have a restaurant specializing in Chinese food, which operates from a rented location along an avenue that is next to a cemetery, a place where many people gather. She started her business out a tent located on the street, but she later partnered with another person and opened her restaurant. Her business is now larger and generates more income. She serves customers starting at night until dawn.

Martha is a member of the Communal Bank “Los Claveles” (The Carnations) and likes that the loans are easy to work with and that she has the incentive to save. She used her savings and loans to build a house and now she is completing the finishing touches. Martha is requesting a loan of 1400 PEN so that she can whitewash her house and buy cement.

Martha dreams of buying a car and seeing her son finish his studies.
