Tahmyna is a well-educated woman from the Pyandj district. She is 47 and married with six children who are all in school. Her husband is currently in Russia. Things are difficult for them financially, as their children are growing up and their family's expenses also growing.
Tahmyna knows that it is hard to be without work, and therefore has decided to start a business. She is planning to open her own sewing business, since she knows how to cut and sew traditional women's dresses. She would like to use her talents to earn more money to provide a good future to her children. However, in order to start this business she first needs to buy a sewing machine and fabric, but she doesn't have this starting capital. She is turning to Kiva lenders in hope for support and trusts that success awaits her.
