Severino's story

Severino C. is from the village of Nungnungan, Cauayan City, Isabela. He is 58 years old, is married, and has two adult children.

Severino owns and operates a business planting and harvesting rice for sale. He has been engaged in his business for over twenty years and earns approximately 75,000 PHP every harvest.

In 2009, Severino joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and his ability to engage in business activities. He is requesting a new loan of 50,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional seeds, seedlings and young crops to raise. This loan will be his third from ASKI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement his family's income.
