A loan helped to pay for overhead expenses and various school supplies.

Sahondra's story

Sahondra is a 52-year-old married mother of three children, one of which is already self-sufficient. She rents an apartment on the outskirts of the city.

Together with her husband, Sahondra farms and raises livestock to support the family. She wants to keep her children in high school. Her savings are insufficient, however, so she chose to join Vahatra to take out a loan. She needs the support of lenders to pay for overhead expenses and various school supplies. She hopes that at the end of the school year her two children will be able to move onto the next grade.
