Isla Umbu Poty Group's story

The group named Isla Umbu Poty is made up of 19 women who are in their ninth loan cycle of the women's committee program. The majority work in sales-related businesses.

One of the members is Atanacia, who works selling food and has a well-stocked store which helps her to have a very important source of income for her family. She states that, in this time of the pandemic, she had to fix up her business according to the health standards established by the government. This generated an important additional expenses, but she was able to overcome it to be in conditions which allow her to continue operating her business.

She asks for this loan to purchase ingredients for her food and also to purchase products to stock her store and, in this way, to continue offering quality and variety to her customers.
