01_Takku Liggey Mboro10 Group's story

This group, which is made up of ten fine women, was created in January 2016; all the members live in the same neighborhood and maintain good relations based on trust and mutual help. They busy themselves with different income-generating activities. Mintou, the group representative, is 51 years old; she is the one sitting on the right of the photo dressed in white and yellow. She is married and has four children, three boys and a girl who are all enrolled in school; the eldest graduated this year. Mintou has a business selling breakfasts at the local school. She purchases her supplies at the central marketplace and has seven years' experience to her advantage.
She will buy cartons of eggs, bags of dried peas, packages of spaghetti, oil and the necessary condiments for good cooking. Her business goes well during the school year and her customers, who are mainly students, appreciate her meals.
Her profits will be used to help her husband, who is retired, to cover the family's expenses (food, clothing, tuition fees, supplies ...).

In this group: Mintou, Diye, Rokhaya, Aminata, Fatou, Maty, Marème, Amy, Virginie, Mame Diarra
