A loan helped to buy foliar treatments, fertilizers, and certified potato seeds.

Leoncio's story

Leoncio is a 62-year-old man. He is widowed and has two children. He lives in an indigenous community in the town of La Esperanza, Intibucá.

For 27 years he has worked in agricultural production, growing excellent quality potatoes. He sells them by the pound or arroba in the local market.

Leoncio seeks a new loan through ODEF for 15,000 lempiras to invest in the purchase of foliar treatments, fertilizers, and certified potato seeds. With this investment he hopes to obtain a better harvest and improved earnings. His goal is to continue investing in his business and to provide a better quality of life to his family.
