A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs.

Atikah's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Atikah. She is 35 years old and is married with two sons and two daughters. Atikah and her husband run a grocery shop from home. One of her children is still in school.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that use an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and sending assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 3,200,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her grocery business.

Atikah is a very hard-working mother who always strives for the best for her children and improves the living conditions to create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank to all lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is one of Atikah’s daughters who still in school.
