Over time, Patricia has adapted her store to better meet her community's needs.
She started selling clothes, cosmetics and creams, and cleaning supplies. While she still sells clothing, she now offers a variety of office supplies and charges to make photocopies as it is not common for families to own printers. This has been especially lucrative in a time where school is taking place online, and people have to print more of their own supplies.
With her current loan, Patricia will restock her store with office supplies and purchase clothing in bulk to take back to her community, making them more accessible to the families nearby.
Others in Patricia's group have general stores, hamburger stands, or also sell clothing.
