Tough Lotus Bungee and Aerial Fitness is a one of a kind facility that focuses on FUN, FUNCTIONAL fitness that is very low impact. I offer Aerial Yoga and Bungee Fitness classes to people of all levels, as well as Burlesque and traditional yoga. I acquired Tough Lotus at the beginning of the pandemic, before we knew how bad it was or how long it would last. I bought Tough Lotus because I want to help others and give back to the community. I focus on community events, partnerships and fundraising for the community outside of our regular fitness classes. Tough Lotus is a brick and mortar studio located in Chandler, Arizona and is currently the only one of it�s kind in the state.
What is the purpose of this loan?
COVID-19 has affected the entire world and small businesses have not escaped this. I had to close the doors of my business twice since being open due to mandatory state shutdowns. This loan will provide us the opportunity to keep our doors open, maintain ongoing training for our staff in precautionary measures, keep staff on by providing much needed payroll relief and a resource for rent.

We offer some Lending Partners the option to protect themselves against currency fluctuations by choosing to pass on these losses to Kiva lenders. By bearing this risk, lenders protect the partner and its borrowers from catastrophic currency devaluations and contribute to the sustainability of their operations.
Potential for currency exchange loss is noted on every loan profile under the loan details:
"Yes" means the Lending Partner will cover any currency loss. Lenders will not bear losses due to currency fluctuation
"Partial" means that the Lending Partner has opted to cover losses only up to 10%. If the U.S. dollar appreciates more than 10% against the local currency, those losses will be passed onto lenders.
