A loan helped to buy a solar powered frezeer system for her grocery store.

Elsa's story

Elsa lives in Olanchito, Honduras. She is 36 years old and from a very young age she worked raising pigs and growing coffee together with her husband.

She is a very entrepreneurial woman, which is why with her own effort she now has a small business where she sells food and other basic products.

In order to expand her business she also sells dairy products, meat, soft drinks, ice and other items that need refrigeration.

But she currently has a limitation, since in the area where Elsa and her family live there is no access to electricity. Due to this she has to find a solution and she keeps these products refrigerated in coolers, which generate a high cost since she has to buy ice daily which is reflected in her earnings.

It is for this reason that she is requesting this loan from Soluz Honduras to get a solar powered frezeer system, which will help her to better serve her customers and above all, she will no longer spend on ice and will not have to travel large distances to buy it. In this way her business will increase its profits and her customers will be satisfied.
