A loan helped to buy nail polish, hair dye, and beauty treatments.

Genisis Monserrate's story

Genisis Monserrate, 27, is in a common law marriage. She has 3 children who are 8 years old, 4 months, and one month. Her partner is a farmer and they live in Estancia Vieja, a place with working-class people who make a living in agriculture. In general, this place has also been very affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

She has a beauty salon where she dyes and cuts hair, and paints nails. She works from her shop or from home. The health emergency was very bad for her at the beginning because she could not open her shop and her earnings were minimal. Now, things are better and she hopes that this will end and she can continue with her life as before.

She will use this loan to buy nail polish, hair dye, and beauty treatments.
