New Orleaves is a community-based plant shop and pottery studio that specializes in interior plant design, youth and adult freelance pottery classes, date night pottery classes, and paint parties for the youth. Pottery is used as an artistic outlet while the plants are grown for both their food and foliage. Our very well received plant and pottery pilot program gives the youth a chance to grow their own food, make their own juice, learn about foliage, and see how fun it is to create a piece on the pottery wheel. Date night aka "ghost night" on the pottery has also been a big success and it's simply time to expand into a physical location as we are currently mobile and cannot efficiently service everyone due to space constraints.
